Unemployment rate for Americans ages 16 to 24 climbed above 10% in August for the first time since the pandemic. For recent college graduates, the picture is also troubling: their jobless rate now exceeds that of the broader workforce for the first time in more than a decade, according to Bank of America Institute analysis of BLS and Census Bureau data compiled by the New York Fed.
